Pete Wernick and Gilbert Nelson will be co-teaching the classes. Pete is the originator of Banjo Camps and Bluegrass Jam Camps, and creator of many bestselling bluegrass books and videos. Along with performing nationwide/worldwide with Hot Rize and others, he is dedicated to helping people learn the joys of playing bluegrass. Gilbert has been a regular on the jam scene for 30 years, with a passion for jamming, performing and teaching a variety of instruments. Gilbert's teaching is action packed and always encouraging, emphasizing fun and success.

Pete and Gilbert's students say:

Pete made learning so easy and so much fun!
I can count on one hand the master teachers I've known and Gilbert is one of them.
Pete gently, but persistently, pushed each of us a little beyond our abilities.
Gilbert, you've given a 58 year-old guy with no "ear" who started with music less than 2 years ago, the belief that I can reach my dream of being able to play music with other people!
Pete opened me up to a whole new experience and helped raise my playing to a whole new level.
Gilbert made everyone feel welcome and important to the success of the group.
